A woman was rushed to the Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Lleida on March 8th after suffering from carbon monoxide inhalation in the town of Alpicat.

The Bombers de la Generalitat (Fire Department) were alerted at 1:00 AM regarding an incident in a house located on Raimat Street. The victim was affected by toxic fumes while inside the residence.
Preliminary reports suggest the poisoning was caused by the poor combustion of a brazier. After being treated on-site by emergency services, she was evacuated to the hospital for further medical care.
In a separate incident in Lleida, a small fire broke out in an apartment building at Josep Solans Square. Local residents managed to extinguish the flames using a fire extinguisher before emergency crews arrived.
