Canon Donates 1,200 Euros Worth of Tomato Cans to Lleida Food Bank

The delegation of the electronics multinational Canon in Lleida delivered hundreds of tomato cans valued at 1,200 euros to the Banc d'Aliments de Lleida last Thursday, January 15.

The donation was formalized during a visit by the Japanese company's delegation to the facilities of the Banc d'Aliments de Lleida. Attending the ceremony were the manager of Canon in Lleida, Manel Urbano, along with the president of the charitable organization, Antoni Fo, and the director, Teresa Farré.

According to the statement issued by the Banc d'Aliments, the contribution from the electronics multinational is crucial for their daily work in supporting the community.
The donated food items, valued at 1,200 euros, will be distributed by the entity to supply households in the Segrià region facing social vulnerability and food insecurity.
