Robles Lleida lost its first game of 2026 against Ibaizabal, despite dominating several phases of play, due to crucial errors in the decisive moments.

The Lleida team aimed to start 2026 with a victory to move away from the relegation zone. Although they came close, Robles Lleida failed to close out the match, allowing Ibaizabal to prevail in the final moments and secure a new win.
The Robles Lleida players showed a dynamic that went from better to worse, yet always remained competitive. The team's coach, Ruben Petrus, analyzed the defeat, emphasizing that his team had carried the weight of the game for many phases.

"Today we leave sad because of the defeat because I believe that during many phases of the game we carried the weight, being able to control the rebound and run, attacking the paint, sharing the ball and getting open shots, ultimately, playing as we wanted, and also being a bit more solid in individual defense."

However, Petrus was also critical of areas needing improvement, specifically rebounding and managing turnovers. He pointed out that Ibaizabal's full-court press and strong one-on-one defense caused numerous ball losses and conceded many offensive rebounds.

"What we need is to deliver today's performance, but without those mistakes."
