The Lleida City Council and the Government of Catalonia agreed on January 29 to expand the Lleida Tourism Office to unify services and strengthen the tourist projection of the territory.

The project, driven by the Directorate General of Tourism, will become a single information point integrating both Generalitat and municipal services, offering more complete and accessible assistance to visitors. This joint initiative seeks to improve the visitor experience and optimize available resources.

"It is conceived as a key element to revitalize the urban center and strengthen the link between tourism and history and identity. Lleida is rich in heritage with the Seu Vella, the Adoberies, or the new Museu Morera."

Fèlix Larrosa · Mayor of Lleida
Beyond improving visitor attention, the pact also aims to coordinate local strategies and messages with the tourism promotion of Catalonia, gain efficiency in management, and integrate the territory into the country's tourism routes and campaigns.

"The new office will become a single tourist information point that will integrate, in the same space, the municipal and Generalitat services, offering more complete, clear, and accessible information."

Cristina Lagé · Director General of Tourism
