The budget received support from ERC, the PSC, Ara-Pacte Local, Unitat d’Aran, and Junts-Impulsem, which advanced its favorable vote from the opposition to guarantee more resources for local entities. The Popular Party (PP) was the only group to vote against the measure.
The budget increase aims to guarantee the arrival of more resources to the municipalities and county councils of the demarcation.
The accounts, which represent a 28% increase compared to the previous year, incorporate significant allocations. Among these are direct aid to address climate disasters and the improvement of the municipal water network.
Furthermore, funds have been assigned for the construction of INEFC Pirineus, the organization of the World Canoeing Championship, and the reformulation of the Homilies d'Organyà space, projects considered strategic for territorial development.
