The meeting, under the slogan ‘Present, taste, and connect’, combined project presentations, tastings, and direct contact spaces, aiming to give visibility to local products and help restaurateurs discover new regional suppliers.
The Deputy for Economic Promotion, Jordi Verdú, highlighted the importance of promoting initiatives that boost the commercialization of local products. "We want products linked to Gust de Lleida not only to be recognized for their quality but also to have a greater presence in the restaurants and shops of our territory," he stated.
The event included a conversation on collaboration opportunities between the primary sector and the restaurant industry, featuring Sergi Aritzeta (El Truc d’Agramunt), Eva Bonet (Celler Comalats), Laura Parés (Cooperativa de la Granadella), and Francesc Molins (Cal Xirricló).
A key moment was the presentations by participating producers and processors, organized in complementary project pairs, led by Gemma Capell (RedPeppers). Subsequently, a tasting and networking space was opened for direct contact with restaurateurs, retailers, and distributors.
The initiative stems from the collaboration agreement between the Lleida Provincial Council and the local action groups of the region, with participation from various associations and comarcal councils, and the collaboration of the Gustum project and the Gust de Lleida brand.
