The organizers of the 85th edition of the Tres Tombs Festival in Lleida have suspended the traditional float parade scheduled for Sant Antoni Abat Day due to adverse weather forecasts, specifically rain.

The decision to cancel the parade, one of the most anticipated moments of the celebration in honor of Sant Antoni Abat, was communicated by the Lleida City Council (Paeria). This measure aims to ensure the safety of participants and the preservation of the carriages against the risk of precipitation.

The blessing of animals and carriages on Avinguda de Blondel remains the central event of the day, an essential meeting point for tradition enthusiasts.

Despite the cancellation of the main event, the rest of the schedule remains unchanged. The mass in honor of the Saint will be held at 11 AM at the Puríssima Sang church.
Subsequently, at 12 PM, the traditional blessing of animals and carriages will take place on Avinguda de Blondel. Furthermore, the popular breakfast intended to gather participants and visitors will also proceed as planned before the religious acts.
