Lleida's Blas Infante square becomes a showcase for young talent on October 17th with the third edition of LleidaJove Fest, a 12-hour free event featuring music, dance, and creativity.

Blas Infante square in Lleida will host the third edition of LleidaJove Fest on Saturday, October 17th, an initiative by the City Council's Youth Department. From 10 AM to 10 PM, the space will buzz with music, dance, urban culture, workshops, and creative activities, with free entry for all citizens.
The festival's main objective is to showcase the talent and creativity of Lleida's youth, offering them a platform to display their projects and helping citizens discover their diverse artistic expressions. Youth Councillor Xavi Blanco emphasized the goal of creating an open and inclusive space for young people to express themselves and actively participate in city life.
The Mercat de les Idees (Market of Ideas), active throughout the day, will bring together young creators and artisans to exhibit and sell their work in illustration, graffiti, painting, photography, design, sculpture, jewelry, and textiles.
Municipal youth services, including LleidaJove and the Integral LGBTI+ Attention Service (SAI Lleida), will also be present to provide information and advice to young people.
The music and dance program features performances by Escola Factoria D, Moussa Traore, K-pop groups like Kpop Teens and Byeolbit Crew, the pop-acoustic concert by Ares Marchal, a Roda de Capoeira demonstration by Associació Topázio Lleida, and acts by ARTS Centre de Dansa and Dancescape.
The afternoon will include an indie-pop concert by Joël (from Reus) and a performance by the Lleida-based metal band Damnor. Dance performances will continue with La Dansa Estudi and a Random Dance session by K-pop groups from La Zona!. The festival will conclude with the Drag show by Haus of Ponent.
The festival also offers participatory workshops: an introduction to DJing with Associació AM+ (pre-registration required), an outdoor Tai Chi and Qi Gong workshop on the banks of the Segre river, and a creative cooking workshop to make tapas (also requiring pre-registration).
With this edition, the Youth Department reinforces LleidaJove Fest as an annual meeting point that combines culture, healthy leisure, participation, and training, highlighting the creative talent of Lleida's youth.
