The farmers who maintained the closure of the A-2 near Bell-lloc d'Urgell and Mollerussa ended their protest action around 12:00 p.m. this Saturday. The road is now fully open to traffic after cleaning operations were completed.
The mobilizations will remain active, at least until this Sunday, maintaining pressure against the agreement between the European Union and Mercosur.
Despite the lifting of the blockade in the Lleida area, cuts remain active at other key points of the Catalan road network. These include the AP-7 between Borrassà and Vilademuls (Girona), the C-16 between Casserres and Berga (Barcelona), and the access roads to the Port of Tarragona (T-11 and A-27).
Furthermore, sources from the Revolta Pagesa organization have confirmed a slow tractor march for Sunday in central Tarragona. It will start at 12:00 p.m. at Plaça Imperial Tàrraco and proceed through various points of the city.
