The extension of the free Rodalies service by the Government of the Generalitat has generated mixed opinions among regular users of the RL3 and RL4 lines in Lleida, who prioritize ending the accumulated delays.

The measure, which is extended until accumulated problems and delays are resolved, is seen by many passengers as “the minimum” the administration can offer. Recurrent travelers, such as Amaia, consider it “shameful to use a service that does not work,” emphasizing that the real need is the repair of the service.

"I prefer to pay and have the trains arrive on time."

Another user, Vladímir, who frequently travels to Bell-lloc, explains that the free service does not solve the underlying problem. Despite not having yet requested the free pass, he complains that “Making them free doesn't solve anything, because the train is late.”
Michael, a student at the UdL, also shares this view. He explains that the days of chaos on Rodalies have led him to miss a train due to unpunctuality. Although the free service “compensates somewhat,” he believes it does not fully fix the structural issue.

"We all have to cooperate to reach our destinations, not just depend on the Govern."
