The arrests occurred around 3:50 AM yesterday morning, January 10, 2026, on Prat de la Riba street in Lleida. A patrol from the Urban Guard (Guàrdia Urbana) was carrying out identification procedures on several people.

The three arrested individuals, two men and one woman, are accused of an alleged crime of assault on authority, as they refused to be identified, verbally abused the officers, and attempted to physically attack them.

In addition to these three arrests, two other women were charged with crimes of disobedience and resistance to authority during the same incident.

In a separate operation, the Urban Guard also arrested a man accused of several robberies committed in shops located in the Eix Comercial (Commercial Axis) of the capital of Segrià.
