The Library of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lleida resumed its full schedule this Monday, January 26, after four and a half months of restrictions caused by construction work at the Rectorate building.

The facilities of the Library of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lleida (UdL) are once again operating between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This normalization follows restrictions imposed by energy efficiency works being carried out in the Rectorate building, as confirmed by the head of the library, Rodolf González.
The service cuts began in September 2025, initially limiting opening hours only to the morning. These works aim to improve the building's climate control and lighting, which also necessitated the temporary closure of the study hall.
In November, the schedule was modified again, concentrating hours between 11 am and 5 pm, primarily due to the low temperatures recorded.
While the Arts Library remains closed on weekends and holidays, the Health Sciences Library in Lleida will continue to cover this service. During the extraordinary examination period, the Health Sciences libraries in Lleida and Igualada operated under special hours.
