Following last year's success, the procession will maintain its 9:00 PM start time to facilitate public attendance. In addition to this, a giant screen will be installed in the Church Square, an initiative designed to make the event more accessible.
This new device will allow live viewing of the initial moments of the liturgy from outside the Santa Maria Parish Church, a space that often becomes too crowded to accommodate all the faithful. This is one of the most emotional moments of the procession, when the bearer carries the cross of the Holy Christ, amidst respectful silence and the sound of drums.
In addition to the screen, the interior lighting of the temple has been reinforced to further highlight this significant moment. The procession, scheduled for Friday evening, will feature the participation of the Manaies de Blanes and four floats: the Holy Christ, the Nazarene, the Recumbent Christ, and the Sorrowful Mother.
This device will allow live viewing of the beginning of the liturgy from outside the Santa Maria Parish Church, which usually fills up and leaves many people outside.
The traditional route will be completed with the singing of the Miserere and musical accompaniment by the Banda i Cobla del Col·legi Santa Maria, elements that contribute to the solemn and traditional atmosphere of the event.
