The presentation took place on Friday, January 16 at the Maria Dolors Oms Plenary Hall, attended by Mayor Jordi Hernández and Heritage Councillor Mònica Rabassa, alongside a large audience interested in local history.
The publication includes unpublished documents and first-person testimonies that offer a detailed view of daily life during the final days of the war conflict in the city.
The central content is the research article Blanes, front de guerra, authored by Joan Garcia, which provides never-before-seen photographs and documents, such as the field mass with Italian soldiers from the CTV. The Biographies section collects contributions from local figures like Pere Puig i Llensa, Joan Bitlloch Carbó, and Fèlix Torruella.
In addition to the main focus, the magazine recovers fragments of the historical memory of prominent Blanes residents, such as Amèrico Llinàs Andreu, Francesc Xavier Oms Burcet, and Francisco Sagrera, and reviews the trajectory of the Grup Comarcal de Perruquers (Regional Hairdressers Group).
Issue 28 also includes information on the activities of the Municipal Archive, highlighting heritage developments such as the first visitable air raid shelter and the Blandae Roman City Interpretation Center, in addition to the latest donations and local bibliography.
