Singer-songwriter Lídia Pujol inaugurated the 5th edition of the small-format music cycle Febrefest in Blanes, filling the Capella de l’Antiga with a review of the Nova Cançó.

The municipality of Blanes kicked off the fifth edition of Febrefest, a music cycle dedicated exclusively to singer-songwriters and intimate formats. The inaugural concert, held this Sunday at the historic Capella de l’Antiga, sold out all available tickets.
The artist chosen to open the festival was Lídia Pujol, who offered an emotional tribute to the Nova Cançó (New Catalan Song), performing iconic pieces by great names such as Llach, Ovidi Montllor, Pau Riba, Raimon, and Serrat.

Her a cappella rendition of the intense song "Te recuerdo Amanda" by Víctor Jara was one of the most moving moments of the night for the spectators.

This performance in Blanes served as a preview of her new show, titled “Lídia Pujol Canta la Nova Cançó”, which will officially premiere on February 15 in the city of Barcelona.
The Febrefest will continue next weekend at the Esbarjo Parroquial. The program includes a wide variety of artists such as Jordi Molina, Karma, and Ivette Nadal, with subsequent performances expected from Helena Cases, Santi Eizaguirre, Èric Vinaixa, Un tal Pere, Tremendu, Sergi Carbonell, Joan Masdéu, Naiara Burke, and Lia Sampai. Tickets cost 12 € in advance and 15 € at the box office.
