The Rodalies service in Catalonia started the Tuesday journey with only 70% of the usual demand, despite guaranteeing mobility using alternative road services.

Antonio Carmona, the spokesperson for Renfe in Catalonia, explained from the Sants station that the operator is working hard to recover user confidence, which they currently consider "undermined" due to recent incidents.

"The operator is working to recover user confidence, which is currently undermined."

Regarding the disruptions, the service cut remains in place for lines R1 and RG1 between Blanes and Maçanet, where passengers must use bus services for the journey. Furthermore, speed limitations are still active between Blanes and l’Hospitalet, increasing travel times.
Conversely, the R11 line has already recovered its full route, and the R2 Nord is operating normally throughout its entire journey. Renfe technical teams continue to work to progressively restore circulation on the sections still affected.
