The coastal town of Blanes is ready to celebrate the 62nd edition of the Recvll Awards this Sunday, March 8th, at the local theater.

This year's competition features 143 literary works submitted by 127 authors. The jury, led by the renowned writer Maria Mercè Roca, has already reached its verdict during a meeting in Girona, but the winners' names will remain confidential until the ceremony.
The awards cover several categories, including fiction, poetry, drama, and journalism, with a total prize fund of 8,600 euros. Most participants come from the Barcelona area, though entries have also arrived from across Catalonia, Valencia, and the Balearic Islands.
The event will be attended by the Mayor of Blanes, Jordi Hernández, and the regional director of Culture, Isabel Bernal, highlighting the cultural significance of this long-standing literary tradition.
