A resident of Blanes denied this February before the Girona Court having harassed four minors online to obtain pornographic material during 2018.

The defendant completely distanced himself from the Instagram profiles that, according to the police investigation, were used to contact the victims. During his testimony at the end of the trial, the man only answered questions from his defense and claimed he did not authorize investigators to access his mobile phone.
The case is particularly sensitive as two of the four victims have a mental disability. According to the prosecution, the man allegedly used social media to coerce the minors into providing explicit sexual images eight years ago.
The Prosecutor's Office and the private prosecution have maintained their request for a sentence of 37 years and 9 months in prison. He faces charges of child pornography, sexual cyberbullying, and threats, while the defense is seeking an acquittal.
