The Lloret Market continues to expand its commercial offerings with the incorporation of Los Extremeños and El Cielo, a gastronomic group with over thirty years of experience specializing in Iberian products, artisanal production, and catering. Their arrival, scheduled for 2027, reinforces the new facility's commitment to combining local commerce with a diverse and high-quality gastronomic offer.
Founded in 1994, Los Extremeños has evolved from a shop specializing in Iberian products into a group integrating various food-related activities. It currently boasts a network of stores and commercial spaces within Ametller Origen, e-commerce, artisanal production, catering, and vocational training.
The Los Extremeños brand is known for its specialization in Iberian products, the expertise of its master ham carvers, and personalized advice. Meanwhile, El Cielo offers a gastronomic proposal that blends Extremaduran tradition with Mediterranean cuisine through its own creations, culinary experiences, and catering services.
At the Lloret Market, the group will launch a new concept uniting specialized products and gastronomy, aiming to provide an experience that goes beyond traditional shopping. This initiative will help invigorate commercial activity and establish the market as a community meeting point.
“"The incorporation of Los Extremeños and El Cielo allows us to continue adding experienced operators with a specialized offering that adds value to the new Lloret Market. We want the market to regain its prominence as a place for daily shopping, but also as a hub for commercial and social dynamism in the municipality."
The project by Los Extremeños and El Cielo also highlights traditional food-related trades and the importance of preserving gastronomic culture. The group includes L'Obrador, dedicated to artisanal production and innovation, and a School of Trades focused on training new professionals.
This addition follows previous announcements of Ametller Origen and Casamoner, further shaping an offering that will combine fresh produce, specialized retail, and gastronomic spaces. The new Lloret Market aims to become a modern and attractive commercial facility, maintaining its connection to the daily life of the municipality and reinforcing its role as a driver of economic and social activity.
