The Civil Guard and Lloret de Mar Local Police conducted a joint inspection on February 20, uncovering fifty administrative and health irregularities across eight local beauty centers.

The operation revealed infractions in every single establishment inspected. Officers found undeclared products, items imported without legal requirements, and substances that are not authorized for use due to potential health risks to consumers in the Selva region.
Many items also lacked the mandatory labeling required to ensure product traceability. Consequently, the Civil Guard has sealed the affected goods within the premises, and administrative proceedings have been initiated against the business owners.
These inspections are part of regular controls in Lloret de Mar aimed at enforcing fiscal, health, and consumer regulations. Personnel from the Labor Inspection and Social Security also participated to ensure compliance with employment laws.
