For three days, the town's streets, walled enclosure, and fortress will be transformed into a grand stage that will transport visitors to the Middle Ages. The event will offer a wide range of shows, historical reenactments, and a craft market featuring traditional products.
The fair's inaugural event will be preceded by the Grand Parade of the Viscounts of Cabrera, which will parade through the town's streets accompanied by their retinue. Among the notable novelties of this edition are the first dance of the giants of Hostalric, a fire show by the company Pyronix Production, and the celebration of the second medieval evening gathering.
The program also includes various gastronomic proposals, such as medieval cuisine and a popular lunch, in addition to musical parades, street theater, interactive workshops, and historical reenactments that will complement the experience.
As every year, there will be emblematic activities that have become a classic of the fair, such as the exhibition on torture and witchcraft in the medieval era or the grand cavalry tournament, one of the most anticipated moments for attendees.
To enhance the festive atmosphere, this year the town's streets and balconies will be adorned with the damask of the Viscounty of Cabrera, a limited-edition decorative element that will allow residents to actively participate in the town's decoration.
