The Blanes Theater hosted the 62nd edition of the Recvll Literary Awards this Sunday, where Valencian author Imma López-Pavia was honored with the prestigious Joaquim Ruyra narration prize.

López-Pavia's work De vides alienes took the top spot in the fiction category. However, the jury decided to leave the Salvador Reynaldos Journalism Prize vacant, despite receiving six entries for the 800-euro award.
Other winners included Israel Clarà from Badalona for poetry and Elisenda Coll from Terrassa for drama. The local touch was provided by Josep Bécares, a Blanes native who won the Catalan Song category with his piece Gràcies.
The event, held on March 9th, coincided with International Women's Day celebrations and featured traditional readings of the winning literary fragments before a closing reception with the organizers.
