Several emergency personnel responded on Sunday morning to a fire at a restaurant in the S'Auguer neighborhood of Blanes, with one worker suffering minor injuries from smoke inhalation.

The fire alert at a dining establishment was received shortly before eleven o'clock this Sunday morning. The flames, initially located in the kitchen, were quickly brought under control thanks to the actions of Local Police officers using a fire blanket and an extinguisher.
According to the information provided, the fire appears to have originated from a deep fryer and the extractor hood. The fire was extinguished before it could spread to other areas of the premises. Subsequently, the Generalitat Firefighters secured the kitchen area and ventilated the affected space.
The Local Police established a safety perimeter around the establishment while emergency teams completed their tasks. The Emergency Medical System (SEM) transported a restaurant worker to a hospital as a precautionary measure for smoke inhalation.
