From September 16 to 22, 2026, Lloret de Mar joins the European Mobility Week to promote more sustainable, safe, and healthy travel, offering free public transport throughout the week.

The initiative focuses on walking, cycling, using public transport, or opting for more sustainable vehicles, as well as rethinking public space, improving air quality, and reducing pollution. This year's slogan, “Mobility for All,” emphasizes intergenerational justice, seeking transport systems adaptable to the needs of children, youth, adults, and the elderly, today and in the future.
Throughout the week, various activities will take place, including a family bike ride, the Skate Series at the Monument de la Sardana (September 18-20) featuring competitions, urban culture, and workshops, and a tour to discover the municipality's cycling network on Sunday, September 20. Additionally, parking facilities for visitors and residents are being enhanced, with one free hour in the Green Zone for non-residents starting September 7.
The program also includes sports activities on Lloret beach, such as portable basketball hoops, and a car-free day on the Maritime Promenade on Sunday, September 20. Workshops, concerts, and children's activities will be held, along with a bicycle raffle for registered participants who travel sustainably.
European Mobility Week in Lloret de Mar aims to transform every journey and move towards more inclusive, healthy, and sustainable mobility for all generations, with a program running from September 16 to 22.
