Lloret de Mar to host the first edition of the regional drag art competition

The Diversity Care Service of the Lloret de Mar City Council organizes the first edition of La Selva Drag on March 20 at the Theater to provide a platform for emerging artists.

The La Selva Drag competition is launched with the aim of increasing the visibility of drag art and offering a launching platform for emerging artists in the La Selva region. The event will take place on March 20 at the Teatre de Lloret de Mar and aims to be a space for creativity, free expression, and artistic diversity.

The organization is led by the Lloret de Mar City Council, through the Municipal Service for Comprehensive Care for Affective, Sexual, and Gender Diversity (SAI), in collaboration with the Consell Comarcal de la Selva. Registration to participate is already open and can be formalized until February 2.
The contest is open to drag artists of all ages and styles, seeking to highlight the plurality of expressions. The competition will feature a jury composed of recognized professionals from the drag world and local culture, whose names will be progressively revealed via their Instagram profile.
