The Blanes venue exceeded 235,000 visitors throughout 2025, representing an 18% increase compared to the previous year. This success is directly attributed to the closing of the Garden's centenary events, which had been celebrated over the last two years.
The origin of visitors shows strong international outreach. French tourists were the largest group (over 16% of the total), closely followed by Catalan visitors and tourists from China. Visitors from Poland and Germany were also notable.
The Garden's management highlights another changing trend: the progressive deseasonalization of visits. Although summer remains the period with the highest influx, spring and autumn have gained importance in the overall attendance count.
The educational and social sphere was crucial. More than 400 guided tours were conducted, and nearly 3,800 students participated in school activities. The botanical festival Marimurtríssim was consolidated, and the Carl Faust Foundation promoted a new gardening project aimed at the elderly.
2025 was also significant due to the arrival of the new scientific director, the Doctor of Botany Josep A. Rosselló, who now leads the research projects and the new collection plan. The Carl Faust Foundation, established in 1951, maintains the mission of preserving the legacy and promoting scientific dissemination in Mediterranean botany.
