The rail service between Blanes and Maçanet-Massanes stations, which had been cut since the January storm, resumed this Thursday with the launch of a shuttle train.

The first shuttle train departed from Blanes shortly after four in the afternoon this Thursday, marking the resumption of service on the section affected by a landslide between Tordera and Maçanet. This incident, which occurred in mid-January, caused no injuries.
Despite the recovery, Renfe maintains the alternative road service, as the frequency of the new shuttle train is one passage every 90 minutes. This measure aims to mitigate the impact on the R1 and RG1 lines.
