The town of Tossa de Mar is once again placing noodle casserole at the heart of its gastronomic offerings with a new edition of the 'A Thousand and One Ways to Make Noodles' campaign. This initiative will run throughout June, from the 1st to the 28th, and will involve sixteen restaurants from the municipality.
The main objective of this campaign, jointly promoted by the Town Council and the Association of Traditional Tossenca Cuisine, is to highlight and champion one of the most representative local recipes, as well as the gastronomic heritage linked to the town's maritime tradition.
Throughout June, participating restaurants will offer special menus where noodles will be the central element, each bringing its own personal interpretation of this emblematic dish of Tossa's gastronomic identity.
The organizers emphasize that noodle casserole transcends a simple recipe. It is deeply rooted in the municipality's maritime culture and is characterized by the use of local products, such as fresh fish, homemade broths, and regional vegetables. Its preparation and consumption are part of the collective memory of many families in Tossa.
The organizers are confident that this initiative will serve to promote local gastronomy and enhance the town's tourist appeal by showcasing one of its most distinctive elements.
