The Vidreres Town Council has officially declared the Can Deulofeu building a Local Cultural Asset (BCIL), ensuring the full protection of this historic site for future generations.

Dating back to the late 19th century, the estate is a prime example of residential architecture in the Selva region. The protection order covers the main house, its characteristic front garden, and original fences, all of which are listed in the Architectural Heritage Inventory of Catalonia.

"The council intends to renovate the building for cultural and socio-educational purposes, aiming to turn it into a space for community revitalization."

Jordi Camps · Mayor of Vidreres
This unanimous decision by the local government marks the first step toward transforming the private-style residence into a public hub, preserving the town's historical identity while providing new social services.
