The Lloret de Mar City Council has launched a new edition of the ‘Tastets d’Ofici’ program, aimed at 21 young people aged 15 to 24, with the goal of introducing them to the world of work through practical training and guidance.

The program aims to help young people identify their professional interests and capabilities by offering a first approach to the labor market. In this edition, the 21 participants are divided into two pathways: Personal Image and Customer Service (10 participants) and Maintenance Assistant (11 participants).
Councilor Alejandro Pérez highlighted the program's active methodology, which seeks to make young people protagonists of their own learning through practical situations close to professional reality.
The Personal Image and Customer Service pathway takes place at El Puntet until November 27th, with 172 hours of training in aesthetics, makeup, and customer service techniques, followed by a period of internships in companies from November 30th to December 23rd.
The Maintenance Assistant Tastet runs until December 2nd at FITEL facilities and at Camping Santa Elena, with 191 hours of theoretical and practical training in maintenance, basic repairs, electricity, plumbing, and fiber optics.
Additionally, the 21 participants will complete a course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support with Civil Protection at the Local Police premises, obtaining the corresponding accreditation.
The program is organized by the Lloret de Mar City Council, the Fundació SERGI, Fitel Network, Càmping Santa Elena, and Imagina’t Cooperativa.
