The company AGBAR won the tender opened last summer for the provision of water supply services in Maçanet de la Selva. The decision was finalized during an extraordinary Plenary session this Monday, following a process involving four competing companies.
The contract spans 25 years, during which the firm will manage the water service throughout the municipality. This includes the town center and the residential estates of Maçanet Residencial Parc, Montbarbat, and Mas Altaba.
Furthermore, the concession includes the Puigtió Industrial Estate. The plan also accounts for the water supply needs of future industrial zones that may be developed within the municipality in the Selva region.
