The festivities officially begin on January 22, the patron saint's day, with the theatrical performance Bona Gent by Quim Masferrer, tickets for which quickly sold out. Throughout the week, the Amusement Fair will occupy Avinguda de Catalunya. Previously, on January 20 and 21, the solemn procession of the Pare Pelegrí will take place, accompanied by the Cobla La Flama de Farners.
One of the highlights for young people is the Barraques 2026 (Festival Tents), starting on January 23 at the Marquee on Platja Gran. The first night will feature the cover band VERBENA’M and a set by DJ CALAMITAT starting at midnight.
On January 24, the cultural offerings include the workshop “El mapa del benestar, punts del cos per cuidar-se” organized by Minerva Associació de Dones. There will also be the children's show La Colla Pirata, nominated for the Premis ARC 2025. The night will conclude with a party at the Marquee featuring TRIBUT 80’S by Miris Way, LA CASSETTE DJ’S, DJ CAPDE, and DJ ZAMBRA. Tickets for this night cost 5 € and can be purchased in advance at Entrapolis.com or the Casa de Cultura.
The Winter Festival will close on January 25 with the traditional Dinner, organized by the Associació de la Cuina Tradicional Tossenca, with music provided by the group SHARAZAN. Additionally, throughout the festival days, there will be other cultural activities, including the presentation of the Revista GAVARRES.
