During the week of October 26th to November 1st, 2026, Vidreres will organize a campaign to control alcohol and drug use while driving. The main objective is to promote safe driving and prevent traffic accidents in the municipality.
The initiative aims to raise public awareness about the serious risks associated with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Such consumption can significantly impair the necessary driving abilities, endangering both the driver and other road users.
For this reason, the importance of not driving after consuming these substances is emphasized. The council stresses that the best decision is always to get home safely, avoiding putting lives at risk.
