The total budget approved for the 2026 fiscal year amounts to 1,022,277.53 euros, the highest figure ever recorded by the municipality. These accounts plan to allocate nearly 60% of the total, specifically 599,783.10 euros, to real investments, continuing the renovation project of the Local Social executed the previous year and focusing public works on the social life of Guixers.
One of the main actions focuses on modernizing water supply control. This includes the installation of new telemeters and the implementation of a computerized consumption reading system, in addition to improving the chlorination system at the Valls reservoir. This investment is supported financially by the Agència Catalana de l’Aigua (ACA).
The second major action aims to improve road safety and mobility. It includes the construction of sidewalks on the streets of Pla de Becies, Roca Foradada, and Emprius, as well as the installation of new public lighting on Pla de Becies street, in the Vilamantells area. This project is financed through a grant from Trànsit.
These accounts will allow us to undertake actions and consolidate a line of work focused on improving public space and basic services.
Other notable investments include the improvement and new paving of roads and streets in various sectors (Pla de Becies, Roca Foradada, Emprius, Codó, and Sant Lleïr de Casabella), framed within the Pla Únic d’Obres i Serveis de Catalunya (PUOSC). The installation of containers and access control for the new waste collection system in Vall de Lord and the regional rural collection will also be addressed, with support from the Diputació de Lleida.
Regarding the financial structure, income from capital transfers, totaling 553,170.23 euros, is key to supporting the large volume of planned investment. Personnel expenses amount to 85,096.50 euros, while current goods and services expenses reach 234,347.93 euros.
