The town of Solsona launched the 22nd edition of the Catalonia Potato and Truffle Fair this Saturday, March 7th, featuring a record-breaking 61 exhibitors at Plaça del Camp.

Sunny weather drew large crowds to the opening morning, providing a boost for local farmers and artisans. Organized by the Consell Comarcal del Solsonès, the fair showcases high-quality local produce alongside the concurrent Wine Festival, which highlights regional vineyards.
A unique feature of this year's wine event is the glassware designed by local artist Jaume Cuadrench. The weekend program also includes traditional potato-peeling contests, live music, and activities for children, making the square the social hub of the region.
The festivities will continue through Sunday with the 2026 Bufet Award ceremony and swing dance performances. Organizers remain optimistic about the turnout for the remainder of the weekend despite previous unstable weather conditions.
