Solsona kicked off the main days of its Carnival with the traditional hanging of the Enramades this Sunday morning, transforming the old town into a large festive stage full of creativity and social cohesion.

Following an intense night of concerts in the Plaça Major and electronic music, residents of Solsona, many dressed in traditional robes, filled the historic center. The frantic activity began before the official start time, with ladders and cranes being positioned to facilitate the installation of the decorations.
By midday, the stretch from the Portal del Pont to the Portal del Castell was almost fully decorated. Carrer de Sant Miquel drew attention with an installation featuring a large rocket and several planets, while Carrer de Sant Cristòfol opted for a cinematic theme.

Beyond the visual spectacle, the 'enramades' are a great expression of social cohesion, turning collective work into a true citizen gathering where groups collaborate on tools, ideas, and experience.

This community spirit is visible in the Plaça Major, where the flags of all official groups fly. The festive morning culminates with the traditional comparsa lunch in the Plaça del Camp, a popular meal that strengthens bonds and leads into the central days of the celebration.
