The municipality of Constantí (Tarragonès) will start the Tres Tombs 2026 season next Saturday, January 10, with the main event held at the Centcelles monumental complex.

The new season of the Tres Tombs (Three Turns), one of the most deeply rooted and popular celebrations in Catalonia dedicated to Saint Anthony the Abbot, patron saint of animals and carters, will officially begin with the designation of Constantí as the capital of the festival.
The inaugural event for the 2026 season will take place at the Centcelles monumental complex, a site symbolizing the connection between Constantí's rural tradition and its Roman past. The opening speech will be given by Mònica Borrell, director of the Museu d'Arqueologia de Catalunya.
During the inaugural day, the flag of the Barcelona Municipal Guard Gathering will also be handed over to the Constantí Municipal Police, highlighting the institutional importance of the occasion.
This celebration marks the start of an extensive program of cultural and educational activities spanning more than 80 municipalities across the country. The activities will run between January 11 and October 18, 2026, and will include the XXIX National Tres Tombs Gathering, scheduled for May.
