A traffic accident involving three cars occurred this Sunday at kilometer 1.173 of the N-340 highway, within the municipality of La Riera de Gaià, in the Tarragonès region.
According to initial information from the Servei Català de Trànsit (Catalan Traffic Service), the incident was more visually striking than severe. The occupants of the three involved vehicles were either unharmed or sustained only minor injuries, based on the initial assessment by emergency teams.

The collision happened in the northbound lane, heading towards Torredembarra, and caused significant traffic jams that lasted until shortly before 5 PM. Queues extended up to two kilometers in length while the affected vehicles were being removed.
