The Camp de Tarragona AVE station returned to normal operations this Tuesday after unions called off the scheduled strike, ensuring punctual train services to Barcelona, Lleida, and Madrid.

The first AVE and Avant trains from Lleida Pirineus, Tortosa, and Barcelona-Sants arrived at Camp de Tarragona station without significant delays during the early hours of February 10. The situation stabilized after major unions withdrew their strike notice.

"It was practically impossible, flights cost 600 euros, we took a gamble, today we were lucky."

Despite the general punctuality, the 8:57 AM AVE service to Barcelona-Sants was canceled, and some later trains experienced fifteen-minute delays. Passengers expressed resignation regarding speed restrictions that continue to affect certain sections of the rail network.

"I support everyone calling these strikes; we all need to put a bit of pressure on the Generalitat."

Jaume · Commuter from El Vendrell
Many travelers heading to Madrid for business prepared for longer journeys. Due to reduced speeds on some tracks, the trip can take up to five hours, leading passengers to rely on downloaded movies and series to pass the time.
