The Catalan Government has unveiled a 305.8 million euro investment plan for the Camp de Tarragona region in 2026, marking a significant 172% increase from previous budgets.

Key projects include 101.2 million euros for the new Camp de Tarragona tramway and 55.7 million for the Joan XXIII Hospital expansion. The Tarragonès district will receive the largest share of funding, totaling 196.1 million euros.
Other notable allocations include 10.9 million for a senior citizens' home in Reus and funding for the Justice Forum in Tarragona city. The budget proposal now moves to Parliament for final approval.
