The Catalan railway network will face 218 temporary speed limits (LTV) starting next Monday, impacting a total of 188 kilometers of track, according to the latest Adif weekly report.

Barcelona remains the most affected area with 97 restricted sections, followed by Tarragona with 70. Significant delays are expected between Riba-roja d'Ebre and Sant Vicenç de Calders due to ongoing infrastructure improvements.
New restrictions have been implemented on the RL4 line between Calaf and Manresa, forcing drivers to slow down to 50 km/h over a nine-kilometer stretch. Meanwhile, Girona will see an increase to 35 restricted points.

"The network will be practically operational by these dates and by April all temporary speed limits will have been removed."

José Antonio Santano · Secretary of State for Transport
Despite the high number of restrictions, Adif has managed to remove some limits following maintenance work, such as on the R1 line between Maçanet and Blanes, where speeds will increase from 30 to 70 km/h.
