The cruise season at the Port of Tarragona kicks off later this month with a Norwegian vessel carrying 4,000 passengers. Regular stops are scheduled, including weekly visits by MSC's Orchestra at the Balears Pier.
The bus stop, located in front of the Tarraco Arena, was moved from Via Augusta last year to alleviate traffic congestion. However, the Stop Creuers platform argues this move has negatively impacted the daily lives of city center residents.

Activists have filed an official petition to the Tarragona authorities, claiming the constant bus traffic poses a serious threat to public health and neighborhood quality, demanding an immediate relocation of the service.
