The primary objective of these plans has been to promote labor market insertion for unemployed individuals while simultaneously conditioning natural environments. Notable interventions include forest clearing and path maintenance tasks.
The Provincial Council allocated approximately 1.5 million euros for these plans, which enabled the hiring of 50 individuals: one supervisor and four laborers per county. In addition to practical work, the employees received complementary training to enhance their personal and professional skills.
The initiatives also encompassed improving path routes, conditioning and maintaining stream beds, as well as undertaking construction and maintenance work on public infrastructure, buildings, and municipal facilities.
The County Employment Plans are part of the Provincial Council's Employment Promotion Plan, an initiative that has been established since 2013 as a key tool for job creation through projects distributed across the territory.
