The Emergency Medical Service (SEM) reported that the three individuals attended to following the collapse have been transferred to medical centers. The critically injured person was admitted to the Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona, the same center where another seriously injured person was taken. The third affected individual, in less serious condition, was admitted to the Santa Tecla Hospital, also in the city.
The storm caused intense rainfall in the Baix Penedès and northern Tarragonès regions, with accumulations potentially exceeding 130 liters in some areas. These downpours led to the evacuation of the Les Sirenes campsite in Creixell and a nightclub in El Vendrell. Shelters have been opened in Creixell, El Vendrell, and Roda de Berà to assist those affected.
The emergency number 112 received nearly 700 calls, and firefighters responded to 192 incidents overnight. The seafront of El Vendrell experienced flooding in ground floors and hotel lobbies. The town's mayor, Kenneth Martínez, described the night as "very long," with extremely heavy rainfall between 1 AM and 4 AM that caused rivers and the seafront area to overflow.
Other municipalities, such as Torredembarra, were also affected by the rains. The situation in the beach area of El Vendrell has stabilized, but many streets remain flooded with vehicles trapped.
