Dense fog affects over 175 kilometers of roads in Tarragona

A thick fog blanketed seven major roads in Tarragona this Wednesday morning, affecting a total of 177.8 kilometers and creating hazardous driving conditions across the region.

The weather phenomenon has impacted key transport arteries in both Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre. Notable disruptions occurred on the A-27 between Tarragona and Montblanc, and the AP-7 highway connecting el Vendrell and Altafulla.
Data shows that the N-240 was the most affected route with 48.40 km of dense fog, followed by the N-340 with 37 km and the A-27 with 29.5 km. Other affected areas included the T-11 near Riudoms and the N-420a in Reus.
