The municipality of El Morell celebrated a highly participatory Sant Jordi, featuring a wide program of street events that particularly involved educational centers and culminated with the lighting of the Drac del Morell.

During the morning, activities focused on children and young people. Students from the Dolça del Morell nursery visited the Montoliu library to enjoy a storytelling session based on the legend of Sant Jordi. Concurrently, students from the Ventura Gassol school performed sardana dances in front of the Teatre Auditori, an initiative by the Associació Cultural Sardanista del Morell.
Secondary school students also had their moment with a poetry reading held at midday. In the afternoon, the celebration continued with another sardana dance performance by the Cobla Principal de Tarragona, organized by the same cultural association.
The Montoliu library participated with a craft workshop to make roses on the rambla, where a fantasy makeup workshop was also offered for the youngest attendees. As is tradition, the day concluded with the spectacular lighting of the Drac del Morell, carried out by the Associació Cultural Embruix.
Throughout the day, the rambla hosted various stalls selling roses and books, allowing residents to uphold the tradition of exchanging these gifts with their loved ones.
