The municipality of El Morell is preparing to celebrate the Sant Jordi festivity with a day full of cultural and participatory activities, including proposals for children, youth, and adults, culminating with the lighting of the Drac del Morell.

The morning program will be specially dedicated to the youngest members of local educational centers. Students from the Llar d'infants Dolça del Morell will visit the Biblioteca Montoliu to enjoy a storytelling session based on the legend of Sant Jordi.
Between 10 AM and 1 PM, students from the Ventura Gassol school will perform sardanas in front of the Teatre Auditori, an initiative organized by the Associació Cultural Sardanista of the municipality. At 1:30 PM, students from INS El Morell will participate in the traditional poetry reading, promoted annually by the Education Department of the El Morell Town Council.
Throughout the day, the Rambla will be the main stage for book and rose stalls, essential elements of the celebration. In the afternoon, the festivities will continue with more sardanas starting at 5 PM, performed by the Cobla Principal de Tarragona, also in front of the Teatre Auditori and organized by the Associació Cultural Sardanista del Morell.
From 5 PM to 7 PM, the Biblioteca Montoliu will move its activities to the Rambla with a craft workshop to create roses. Additionally, children will be able to enjoy fantasy face painting. The day will conclude, as is customary, with the spectacular lighting of the Drac del Morell, carried out by the Associació Cultural Embruix.
