A total of 16 photographs by Tarragona-based artists including Pep Escoda, Ram Giner, Albert Porres, and Ruben Perdomo will be exhibited at VIAMED Tarragona's facilities for one year. These images originate from previous exhibitions held at the Tinglados of the Port's Moll de Costa.
Two photographs by Pep Escoda and one by Ruben Perdomo were part of the exhibition "Tarragona confinada. La ciutat amagada" (2020), a tribute to essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The 5 photographs by Ram Giner and the 8 by Albert Porres were featured in the exhibition "Un port, dues mirades" (March-April 2025), which explored the port area through their artistic visions, one in black and white and the other focusing on color.
Additionally, the Port of Tarragona has finalized two more cultural agreements. The artwork "Mar" by Josep Icart Espallargues, created between 1984 and 1985, will be displayed at the port facilities for three years. This piece, measuring 180x182 cm, was part of the recent exhibition "A la recerca de la llum" which highlighted the career of this Tarragona painter.
Finally, the Port of Tarragona's Art Collection has been enhanced with the donation of the artwork "El peix no cau del cel" by Cambrils-based artist Núria Mariné. This mixed-media piece (acrylic and Chinese ink on a frying pan) from 2025 was previously exhibited at Tinglado 1. The exhibition of the same name explored Mariné's marine universe, promoting reflection and social awareness.
