Fire in refrigeration units forces evacuation of Tarragona Educational Complex

Firefighters were called to the Tarragona Educational Complex this Saturday morning, March 14th, following a fire in the building's refrigeration systems that required a full evacuation.

The alarm was raised at 10:15 AM when grey smoke was spotted coming from a room in the former Laboral University. Security protocols were immediately activated, and the premises were cleared before emergency crews arrived.
Four fire crews attended the scene and identified the source of the smoke in several cold storage units. The fire was declared fully extinguished by 10:56 AM, with no injuries reported during the incident.
