In Roda de Berà, three people were trapped when a wall collapsed at the port, resulting in one critical injury and two others in serious and less serious conditions. The SEM provided 35 attentions during the episode. The torrential rains forced the evacuation of the Las Sirenas campsite in Creixell and a nightclub in El Vendrell, where about 150 young people were transferred to a nearby school. Shelters were also set up in Roda de Berà and Creixell.
The emergency number 112 received nearly 700 calls, and firefighters responded to 192 incidents. In El Vendrell, the seafront suffered flooding in building basements and hotel lobbies. The seriously and critically injured were taken to Joan XXIII Hospital in Tarragona, and the less seriously injured to Santa Tecla Hospital.
The mayor of El Vendrell, Kenneth Martínez, described the night as "very long," with over 130 liters of rain accumulated between one and four in the morning. The seafront and ravines were "overflowing." A nightclub with a hundred young people had to be evacuated, and a girl was rescued from a ravine. The mayor emphasized that they had "never seen" such a situation, with damage primarily to urban furniture, the beach, and private cars.
In Roda de Berà, Mayor Pere Virgili noted that the seriously injured person from the wall collapse is recovering favorably. He regretted that the night was "more complicated than we expected," acknowledging that in his 62 years, he had never witnessed water flowing with such force. About a hundred campers from the Arc de Roda de Berà campsite were evacuated to the Municipal Sports Center. Festival activities also had to be suspended.
In Torredembarra, acting mayor Vale Pino reported 137 liters per square meter, with impacts on the Miramar promenade, the Mossos d'Esquadra police station, and a gas station. The Viló underpass was completely blocked, and some vehicles were trapped. Efforts are now focused on removing debris and cleaning. Pino highlighted the "new climatic reality" that requires being "always prepared."
In Creixell, Mayor Montserrat Muñoz explained that 13 people had to be rescued and taken to the Municipal Center. Contact was maintained with campsites, some of which had to evacuate residents to higher ground. There was material damage, and a truck underpass was completely submerged. The national road was cut off, temporarily leaving the municipality "incommunicado."
